Volkswagen GTI Concepts

Since 1976, the Volkswagen GTI has been a trendsetter in automotive culture. As the first hot hatch, it’s created multiple generations of competitors that have never been able to quite capture the hearts and minds of car buyers the way the GTI has.

50 Years Young

To mark 50 years and 2.5 million cars sold to date, Volkswagen is celebrating its birthday with a series of global events, three unique concepts, and the release of the first-ever electric GTI.

A GTI and A 12 Cylinder Engine

The concepts are not new to the GTI world, as they debuted in 2007, 2013, and 2014. However, they are a reminder of what the spirit and creativity of the car mean to enthusiasts. The first concept, the GTI W-12, was a car that answered a question no one had. What if Volkswagen stuffed a Bentley 12-cylinder engine behind the front seats of a fifth-generation GTI? What we got was a powerhouse with 650 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque from a 6.0-liter W-12, a dual-clutch transmission, and a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. To accomplish this, VW lowered the car by three inches and widened it by six to work properly, then put a rear axle and brakes from a Lamborghini, the engine from a twin-turbo Bentley Continental, a carbon fiber roof, and rear suspension and such from an Audi R8.

Before Becoming a Farmer, Jeremy Clarkson Reviewed Cars

In the debut episode of series 10, Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson enjoyed a hot drive in the GTI W-12. He said it wasn’t a particularly savage car in terms of performance, but it just wouldn’t stop going once you pushed the accelerator. While the car was originally painted Candy White, it has since been repainted Tornado Red.

Volkswagen GTI Design Vision Concept Front View

A Seemingly Simple Yet Special Concept

The next car VW showed off was the Design Vision GTI concept at the 2013 LA Auto Show. This special model featured a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that produced 503 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, according to Volkswagen. Engineers widened a Mk7 GTI by 2.8 inches, lowered it to squat over the wheels, installed one-off 20-inch wheels with center locks, fitted carbon-ceramic brakes, and added special bodywork with new side air intakes and vents. The interior was inspired by the Audi R8 at the time and stripped for weight savings, with Alcantara and carbon-like appointments throughout the cabin, plus red door pulls instead of handles. Volkswagen ripped the rear seats out and put a massive X-brace in their place to stiffen the chassis.

Fantastically Fast

With a dual-clutch DSG transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive, VW said this unique GTI could reach 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and top out at 186 mph. This was quite a bit quicker off the line than the Mk7 GTI at the time, which, according to Car and Driver, required 5.6 seconds to 60, a brisk time even by today’s standards.

The Most Unique GTI Ever

Volkswagen followed the success of the previous two cars by introducing a very special one-off: a roadster built for Gran Turismo 6. The GTI Roadster offered the same twin-turbo V6 as the Design Vision GTI. The GTI Roadster, though, turns the GTI into a Speedster, with short windows and a windshield, plus scissor doors, a giant rear wing, and all-new bodywork and one-off wheels. With meatier tires and larger brakes, the 2014 GTI Roadster was quite possibly the most special of all the concepts.

2026 Volkswagen Taos Front View While on the Road

We’re always looking for drivers to enjoy our lineup of great vehicles. Our compact 2026 Volkswagen Taos SUV is a great starting point for many people. It offers the space you need with the versatility you expect from a vehicle that punches above its weight.

What drivers will discover about the 2026 Taos is its nimbleness. Vehicles of this size were engineered to handle smaller parking spaces and tighter turns. The 2026 Taos makes all of this easier, while delivering more of everything else.

That includes more power. The turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine puts down 174 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. This makes the 2026 Taos one of the most powerful vehicles in its size class. Connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, you have a choice of front- or the 4Motion all-wheel drive system. No matter which driveline you choose, you can count on performance and traction to handle whatever our climate throws at your 2026 Taos.

2026 Volkswagen Taos Interior Dash View

It is also a handsome SUV. The signature light bar and logo greet you, while the large lower grille takes in all of the air needed to keep your engine going. The roofline is tall enough for both passengers and cargo to enjoy the ride. Speaking of cargo, the liftgate opens up high for easier loading and unloading of anything you put inside the 2026 Taos.

With a choice of four models, each has its own environment and personality, allowing you to enjoy the drive. From comfortable cloth seats in the S model to luxurious leather in the SEL, the right level of comfort can make your 2026 Taos experience the one you want. That, along with space for up to five people and up to 65.9 cubic feet of cargo volume, is exceptional in its size class.

We cannot talk about Volkswagen without its technology. Each 2026 Taos offers a Digital Cockpit display for the driver – the SE, SE Black, and SEL have the larger 10.25-inch version with multiple screen options. A center eight-inch display houses many interactive functions, from Wireless App-Connect with smartphone mirroring to native navigation found on the Discover Media system on the SEL.

2026 Volkswagen Taos Rear View

When it comes to safety, the 2026 Taos delivers the standard suite of IQ.DRIVE driver-assistance features, keeping you protected from harm anywhere – even parked. You get adaptive cruise control, front assist, rear traffic alert, travel assist, and emergency assist, among several features that work together to keep you safe and secure every time you hit the road.

While we think it’s a great compact SUV, the editors at J. D. Power evaluated a 2026 Taos SEL. They said that it was “enjoyable to drive, with good handling and a smooth ride, making it a great option for road trips or daily chores. In addition, they stated that with a full suite of [driver assistance features] and a spacious interior with good utility, the Taos holds its own in a very competitive market segment.

2027 Volkswagen Atlas Front View

Since it first arrived on the scene for the 2018 model year, the Volkswagen Atlas has become a beloved three-row SUV for buyers who were looking for more than just another bland family vehicle. While 2021 saw significant updates for the sport utility, 2024 saw the Atlas become even better, with a new engine that offered more power and torque, along with more standard equipment and upgraded safety features.

Introducing The All-New 2027 Volkswagen Atlas

At this year’s New York International Auto Show, Volkswagen took the wraps off the all-new 2027 Atlas with the latest fifth-generation EA888 turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that delivers 13 more horsepower at 282 and 258 lb-ft of torque and gets paired with the current model’s fantastic and smart 8-speed automatic transmission. The legendary 4Motion all-wheel-drive system is available as an option across all trim levels, and Volkswagen says a hybrid model will arrive in a few years during a mid-cycle refresh.

2027 Volkswagen Atlas Rear View

A Word from Volkswagen

“When we first launched Atlas in 2017, we delivered the space and style the SUV market was missing; practical, well‑designed, and unmistakably Volkswagen,” said Kjell Gruner, President and CEO, Volkswagen of America. “The all‑new 2027 Atlas brings more of what matters: a stronger design, smarter technology, increased power, and a premium feel where it matters most.”

2027 VW Atlas Interior

Higher End and More Premium

One of the main goals of the all-new Atlas was to give buyers a more premium-looking and feeling SUV without breaking the bank. The new, unique stacked LED headlights, along with the lighted bar and VW logo running along the front grille, let everyone know what you’re driving before you even get there. More pronounced fender flares lead the way to different wheel sizes, from 18 to 20 and 21 inches. The high shoulder line of the side profile gives the Atlas a more upright appearance. The taillights feature multiple LEDs connected by a lightbar.

New Exterior Colors

Volkswagen will offer three new colors for all 2027 Atlas models: Blackberry, Sacramento Green, and Sandstone.

2027 VW Atlas Center Console

A New, More Premium Interior

The premium-ness doesn’t stop with the exterior design. No, the interior incorporates new design elements, such as high-end soft-touch materials, genuine wood on the dashboard, and the ability to choose from up to 30 ambient interior colors.

New Colors, Accents, and Features

Buyers will be able to choose among three interior color options: pebble grey, a moody black with dark grey, and a brand-new deep wine. Base trim models feature leatherette seating surfaces, while the top two trim levels receive Varenna or Nappa leather seats. Speaking of seats, the driver will appreciate having a 12-way power-adjustable seat with four-way lumbar support as standard. Rear passengers receive a new air vent in the B-pillar for improved ventilation.

2027 VW Atlas Front Seats

Better Interior Tech

Base trim levels will have a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while all higher trims have a 15-inch screen. The much-loved 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro digital instrument cluster is also standard on all models and configurable to your tastes and needs. The Driver Experience Dial on the center console will control the stereo volume, the new Atmosphere feature, and the different drive modes. For the first time, the Atlas is available with side-by-side Qi2 wireless chargers in the center console for the driver and front passenger. However, seven USB-C ports are still offered throughout the cabin. Owners will get a free one-year subscription to Premium Speech, the new generative A.I. voice assistant from Volkswagen.

New Standard Equipment

The 2027 Atlas offers new features as standard, including a power liftgate, rear sunshades, auto-dimming driver side mirror, dual hatch lights, and rear park distance control. Base models are upgraded to a 9-speaker sound system, while other models offer a 14-speaker Harmon Kardon premium sound system, standard on the top trim.

Even More Safety Than Before

One of the greatest innovations of the 2027 Atlas is the inclusion of a center airbag between the driver and front passenger, bringing the total to seven airbags. The standard IQ.DRIVE suite of safety equipment features updated driver-assistance technology, including Travel Assist for semi-autonomous, hands-on driving, and Emergency Assist, which will bring the vehicle to the side of the road and to a complete stop during a medical emergency. The base model now gets Park Distance Control as standard, while the top trim gets a new version of Park Assist Plus.

2027 VW Atlas 3rd Row

You Choose Between Two and Three Rows

Like the previous models, the Atlas will be available as both a three-row SUV and the two-row Atlas Cross Sport. When properly equipped, both models will still be able to tow up to 5,000 lbs.

Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport Lineup

Volkswagen has gone above and beyond to offer buyers a comfortable, safe, reasonably sized, and priced SUV that has the looks to match anything from more expensive luxury brands. With its swooping roof, the Atlas Cross Sport has great interior volume for those who don’t quite need as much as the three-row Atlas provides, but still want a larger SUV that has plenty of cargo space.

A Fresh Take on The Atlas Cross Sport

A new review from David Booth at Driving sees him really enjoy the 2026 Atlas Cross Sport and its multiple talents, saying, This is an extremely impressive package overall.”

Side Profile of the New Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport

Base Price, Engine, and Trim Levels

Starting at $38,775, the Atlas Cross Sport offers five great trim levels: SE, SE with Technology, SEL, SEL R-Line Black, and SEL Premium R-Line. All models have the same beloved 2.0-liter turbocharged Evo4 engine, producing 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, and only requiring 87 octane gas. While SE models offer standard front-wheel drive, 4Motion® all-wheel drive is optional. All SEL trim levels have AWD as standard.

Fuel Economy Is Quite Good

With its 8-speed automatic gearbox, the Atlas Cross Sport can be driven sportily or for fuel efficiency, with the EPA estimating that FWD models achieve 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. All-wheel-drive models get just one fewer mile per gallon on the highway.

What Driving Had to Say

“The other reason to buy the Atlas Cross Sport is its delicious combination of ride and handling. More firmly suspended than most comparable utes, the Cross Sport nonetheless remains quite comfortable. Indeed, on most roads, the increased damping allows better body control, which can actually improve the ride … Combine that control with exceptional high-speed on-center stability, and the Atlas Cross really is something of a road warrior … so relaxed did I feel behind the wheel.”

Rear Seats in the Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport

Standard Tech Features

Each trim level offers, as standard, a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four USB-C ports that support 45 watts of fast charging (a total of 6 ports are available), and a 15-watt wireless phone charger. In front of the driver is a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster display that offers four views, including the option to display your map and navigation needs.

The IIHS Says the Cross Sport Is Incredibly Safe

Both the Atlas and the Atlas Cross Sport were named by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) as Top Safety Pick+ vehicles. This means, of all the cars, trucks, and SUVs on sale today, the Atlas twins are among the safest you can buy.

An Amazing Array of Standard Safety Features

This is thanks to the superb engineering of the Atlas Cross Sport and the top-notch suite of safety features from IQ.Drive, which is standard on all models. Standard features include Adaptive Front Lighting System with LED headlights and Light Assist auto high beams, Front Assist (Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian & Cyclist Monitoring); Active Side Assist (Blind Spot Monitor); Rear Traffic Alert; Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Stop and Go; Lane Assist (Lane Keeping System); Emergency Assist (semi-automated vehicle assistance in a medical emergency); Intelligent Crash Response System that disables the fuel pump, unlocks the doors, and turns on the hazard lights in the event of an accident; and Exit Warning.

2025 Volkswagen Tiguan Front Side View

When it comes to the most popularly purchased Volkswagen, you would expect the company to be rather conservative with the newest generation. Instead, the 2026 Tiguan offers even more for a price that beats much of the competition.

MotorTrend Compares The 2026 Tiguan Against the Forester Hybrid

This is especially true when you read the latest comparison test from MotorTrend, where the magazine pitted the all-new Tiguan against the all-new 2026 Subaru Forester Hybrid. Which one is best for you, though?

Pricing and Trim Levels

Volkswagen has priced the latest Tiguan right, with a base MSRP of $32,280 and five unique trim levels, including S, SE, SE R-Line Black, and the new-for-2026 SEL R-Line Turbo. While front-wheel drive is standard on the S and both SE trim levels, 4Motion® all-wheel drive is available as an option. The model MotorTrend tested was an SE R-Line Black optioned with AWD, with an as-tested price of $41,070.

A Powerful Engine Under the Hood

Each S and SE Tiguan comes standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 201 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque when equipped with FWD and 221 lb-ft with AWD. The top-of-the-line SEL R-Line Turbo offers the same engine, putting out 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired perfectly with an 8-speed automatic transmission that reacts intelligently to both normal and sporty driving.

Fuel Economy

The EPA estimates that the Tiguan achieves 22 mpg in the city, 30 mpg on the highway, and an average of 25 mpg across both cycles.

Meet The Forester Hybrid

The 2026 Subaru Forester Hybrid has a base MSRP of $38,015 and a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine paired with a 1.1-kWh battery pack, for a total of 194 horsepower. The starting price of the top-trim Limited Hybrid that MotorTrend tested is $44,715, with an as-tested price of $45,210.

2025 Volkswagen Tiguan Front View

Comparing the Tiguan Against the Forester Hybrid

MotorTrend said that while the Forester Hybrid has a comfortable ride, it feels too relaxed for some, with little driving involvement. The Volkswagen, on the other hand, they loved it, even though the Forester Hybrid, unsurprisingly, was better on gas.

A Word from MotorTrend

“The Tiguan, on the other hand, is eager to keep pulling, much like a Golf GTI. Gone is the lag found in the previous-generation model, with the new Tiguan seeming noticeably sportier. Its eight-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and decisively, helping the SUV be more responsive and torquier … Overall, we preferred the way the Tiguan handles on the road; it feels like a tool you’re fully in control of.”

Crash Test Results

For their day, the original Volkswagen Beetles didn’t have a poor safety record, but Volkswagen is not likely to put the gas tank in front of the cabin again. And the original Type 2 Bus? Well, it didn’t exactly have a front crumple zone, did it? But that was a very different time for the industry. Today, Sisbarro Volkswagen wants you to know that every current model comes with many safety features to help you avoid a collision in the first place and to better survive one after the fact.

As Volkswagen says on its site regarding safety, a lot goes into a VW before you do.  Volkswagen may not tout its safety features in all its advertising, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there.  Every model includes a version of IQ.Drive, an array of safety and driver assistance technologies.

Front Crash Avoidance Driver Aides

To start, every model has a front sonar system. It can detect not only vehicles but also pedestrians, cyclists, and objects in front of you. It is the key sensor for the Front Assist Systems (Forward Collision Warning & Autonomous Emergency Braking w/ Pedestrian Monitoring). It is also key to the very useful Adaptive Cruise control, which lets you use the convenience of cruise control not just on the open highway but also on city highways with moderate traffic, where you can easily keep pace while automatically maintaining a proper distance.

There is also a forward-facing camera, a key component of the Lane Assist feature. Lane Assist monitors lane markings on both sides and gently steers the vehicle back into the lane if it drifts outside the lane with no signal engaged. You are expected to keep your hands on the wheel, but it can be particularly useful for those brief moments when you take a drink or briefly turn your attention away from the road.

Volkswagen tries to keep blind spots to a minimum, but recognizes that some areas may still be obscured at a glance. The Blind Spot Monitor alerts you to vehicles in your blind spots with a light on the inside housing of either side mirror. Using the same sensors, Rear Traffic Avoidance is particularly useful in a parking lot with large adjacent vehicles blocking your view. It will give you visual and audio alerts if a vehicle is approaching from either side while Reverse is engaged.

Side Mirror Alert

There are stability-enhancing systems, such as Electronic Brake-pressure Distribution (EBD), which help maintain appropriate stopping power during hard braking. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) can adjust engine throttle and apply corrective forces to the wheels that need them most. All Volkswagen vehicles are equipped with a total of six stability-enhancing systems.

A modern VW is likely to look awful after a moderate to severe front or rear collision. That is a good thing, as the front and rear of the vehicle are designed with crumple zones that will do just that: crumple to absorb energy and help distribute forces away from the very rigid laser-welded cabin structure. They may look awful, but a closer look may reveal an intact cabin with doors that still open properly.

After a collision, the vehicle may still be moving, and the driver may be too dazed to react immediately. The Automatic Post-Collision Braking System can help slow the vehicle further after an impact, reducing the risk of additional collisions. In most collisions, the Intelligent Crash Response System will automatically turn off the fuel pump (on gas-powered models), turn on the interior lights, unlock the doors, and activate the hazard lights.

Emergency Braking Alert

Of course, there are a few items you expect because they are required, such as front and side airbags for the driver and front passenger, and side curtain airbags to protect the heads of both front and rear occupants in a side collision. ABS keeps the tires from locking up and losing traction. Also found on every model is the rear-view camera system, which displays what is behind you on the center screen the moment Reverse is engaged.

When you are visiting Sisbarro Volkswagen and looking at new models, your attention will likely be on the feel of the seats, the feel of the controls, and, on a test drive, all of the European-derived vehicle dynamics. It is hard to test the safety features, and we would rather you not, but just know that they are always there.

Golf GTI Autobahn

The awards keep on coming for Volkswagen. MotorTrend named the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R their 2026 Car of the Year, while Car and Driver added both of them to this year’s 10Best Cars list.

The accolades continue to roll in for both the 2026 Golf GTI and Golf R, as they were named to Car and Driver’s 2026 Editors’ Choice list. They are also joined by the 2026 Tiguan, making it three Volkswagen models on this esteemed list of the magazine’s best automobiles.

Volkswagen Golf R Black Edition

This list is based on Car and Driver’s extensive and exhaustive testing of every vehicle they work with. Based on instrumented testing, the magazine’s editors convene to pore over data and impressions to create a list of 131 of their highest-rated and well-loved vehicles for this roster—that is, 131 vehicles out of 450—across 47 segments.

The criteria they use are based on the editors’ assessment of each 2026 model-year vehicle’s “intended mission” and the value it brings to consumers and enthusiasts. Each vehicle receives a ranking of up to 10 stars. To make the list, they have to earn at least nine of them.

Considering how well the Volkswagen Golf has done with the editors of Car and Driver over the past 50-plus years, it is no surprise that the 2026 Golf GTI and Golf R have made this list. Over eight-and-a-half generations, the groundbreaking hatchback evolved into a pair of sports compact/hot hatch heroes. The benchmark they set over the past 50 years has earned them an international following amongst enthusiasts of all stripes.

The 2026 Golf GTI and Golf R continue this tradition as the “go-to” sports compacts/hot hatches, delivering excitement and precision in two different packages.

While they share the basic EA888 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, their tunes and drivelines deliver distinctive driving experiences for their drivers. The 2026 Golf GTI features a 241-horsepower, front-drive drivetrain that delivers a pure driving experience that engages the driver no matter where they go. The 2026 Golf R does so with a more powerful 328-horsepower unit, coupled with a 4Motion all-wheel-drive system that delivers superb grip for maximum traction.

2026 Volkswagen Tiguan Overhead View

The best acknowledgement of how the 2026 Tiguan has been elevated is Car and Driver’s inclusion of it on this list. This year, VW doubled down on the power offerings from the same EA888 turbocharged engine. Most models get the 201-horsepower version, delivering efficiency while adding fun along the way. For enthusiastic families looking for more excitement, the 2026 Tiguan SEL R-Line Turbo raises the power band to 268 horsepower for a sporting drive with you and the family or your friends.

All three of these vehicles are the result of the great work Volkswagen has done in producing and offering great experiences. That is why you are invited to answer our call for “Drivers Wanted.”

You can check out all three of these Editors’ Choice winners at Sisbarro Volkswagen. Contact us to find out which winning combination is right for you.

2026 VW Tiguan Front View

Volkswagen is a brand with a huge Latino following and customer base across the Americas. As popular as they are in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil, they have found a deeper culture right here across the country.

It comes as no surprise that Puros Autos recognized the 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan as the Best SUV in their Latin Flavor Cars of the Year awards.

As the leading automotive source for Latinos in the U.S.A., Puros Autos looks at insights from this influential customer base in terms of purchasing power, marketing efforts, and development strategies to calculate data and determine trends to better serve this demographic.

They cited the 2025 and 2026 Tiguan models, noting improvements over the last generation model in performance, quality, technology, and safety. For one, the interior quality and materials are great to the touch. The controls also follow suit with ease of operation. That includes the steering-stalk-mounted shifter.

2026 VW Tiguan Front Dash

This new-generation Tiguan offers the largest screens in the history of the Tiguan. The standard 12.9-inch screen houses connectivity and operational functions that are quickly accessible. The same screen becomes even larger in the new SEL R-Line Turbo, measuring 15 inches. Devices can connect wirelessly quickly and easily.

A unique feature now found on the 2025 and 2026 Tiguan is the Atmospheres mood selector that creates an environment that matches how you’re feeling behind the wheel. The newest Tiguan is also very accommodating, seating up to five people. It can also carry up to 69.6 cubic feet of cargo with the rear seats down.

For 2026, the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder is now available with two power levels. SE, SEL, and SEL R-Line Black models are powered by the 201-horsepower engine, offering both performance and efficiency. The new SEL R-Line Turbo model sees a power bump to 268 horsepower, igniting more excitement into your daily driving. All 2025 and 2026 Tiguan models are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a choice of front- or 4Motion all-wheel drive.

Driver's Wanted

With a debut during that rather popular football game in early February, Volkswagen begins a new chapter of its Drivers Wanted advertising campaign. Sisbarro Volkswagen provides you with the details.

The Drivers Wanted campaign dates back to the late 90s and was created to communicate Volkswagen’s human-centric approach to design, performance, and culture, as well as the distinctive driver-pleasing feel of its models. Today, the campaign, designed by the New York advertising agency Johannes Leonardo, offers a forward-looking invitation, calling on a new generation to say yes to possibility, originality, and optimism by living life in the driver’s seat.

Driver's Wanted

The debut spot, “The Great Invitation,” showcases the brand as a whole. Set to the 1992 hip-hop song “Jump Around” by House of Pain, the spot features a series of invitations, starting with a dog knocking a ball toward its owner as a request to play, followed by a group of people inviting their friend to join them on a trip in their ID. Buzz, a young woman inviting someone inside a VW to join her dancing in the rain; a dust-covered Golf GTI with “call me” scrawled beneath a phone number; the siren call of an ice cream truck prompting spontaneous decisions; and several other instances of someone being encouraged to join in. These moments embody the spirit of saying yes and reaffirm the original campaign’s goal of encouraging young consumers to forge their own paths and shape culture.

Most scenes could be anywhere, but multiple shots of a city, either up close or in the background, reveal the location as Houston, TX.  Most of the individuals in the spot are young, as VW aims to capture a new generation of “drivers” with the brand’s long-held belief that driving is about much more than getting from point A to point B.

Driver's Wanted

Our passion has always been about our cars and our people; our drivers, our dealers, our employees,” said Kjell Gruner, President and CEO, Volkswagen Group of America. “This campaign celebrates that connection and invites everyone to share in the joy of driving a Volkswagen.”

In contrast to the 2024 game-day spot “An American Love Story,” which celebrated 75 years of Volkswagen in the U.S. and showcased models across the decades, “The Great Invitation” focuses on current models in the VW lineup.

Driver's Wanted

“Now is the perfect moment to remind our enthusiasts why they love Volkswagen and to welcome others to join in,” said Rachael Zaluzec, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience and Brand Marketing, Volkswagen of America. “’Drivers wanted’ is more than a message; it’s an invitation to take the wheel, experience the freedom and fun of the road.”

With only one spot available for viewing at this point, it is difficult to determine where VW will go with this campaign, but we will all be watching. In the meantime, Sisbarro Volkswagen extends its own invitation for you to see and experience the exciting lineup of Volkswagens, from the practical and efficient Taos to the very driver-pleasing Golf GTI to the eye-catching and innovative ID.Buzz, or similarly spacious Atlas

Certified Pre-Owned Volkswagen Tiguan

What if there is a Volkswagen you’ve always wanted, but you can’t afford a new one? Something like a Golf GTI, an Atlas Cross Sport, or something that speaks to your needs, with all the good things that make a Volkswagen one to proudly own. That is why you should consider purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned Volkswagen

What makes a Volkswagen a Certified Pre-Owned one? A Volkswagen model that is no more than six years old qualifies to become a Certified Pre-Owned model. It starts with a 100+ point Dealer Inspection. Before they are offered at our dealership, each vehicle must undergo a thorough checklist to ensure it meets our standards. Technicians check engine performance, any start-up issues, transmission performance for malfunctions or noise in operation, the proper function of the brakes to ensure adequate stopping distance, the steering system for noise, effort, vibration, and pulling to each side, and update all systems to meet recommended or required maintenance needs.

Certified Pre-Owned Jetta GLI

You also want to know the vehicle’s history before you look at it. That is why we provide you with a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report. This report will show whether the Volkswagen you are considering has been in an accident or where it has been registered. This report alone instills a sense of peace of mind, knowing that this Certified Pre-Owned Volkswagen has had a good history worth continuing.

Once you take delivery of your Certified Pre-Owned Volkswagen, the Model-Specific Warranty Coverage begins. This extends the vehicle’s standard Comprehensive Limited Warranty based on its model year. A 2019 Volkswagen gets an additional 1-Year or 12,000 miles – whichever comes first – attached to that warranty. Vehicles from 2020 and newer get an additional 2 years and 24,000 miles. Electric vehicles from 2019 and newer get an added 3 years and 36,000 miles on their Comprehensive Limited Warranty.

As an added layer of peace of mind, you also get 2 years of 24-Hour Roadside Assistance included in your Certified Pre-Owned purchase. That includes towing to the nearest Volkswagen dealership, flat-tire changes, and jump-starts.
